Laughter and books make life a little easier

Random vlog

In which I talk for 7 and a half minutes about nerdy obsessions, hobbits, NaNoWriMo, get distracted by absolutely everything flying past and look everywhere except at the camera.

I know I sound weird to most of the world. Sorry if it’s annoying! Also, I seemed to have developed an allergy to breathing lately, so my nose is all stuffy and… yeah.

Why does my voice sound so weird?

I look like a school kid doing a speech.

Just look at the camera, will you?

Bad quality, ergh. Glare. Ergh. Why does it lag there. Hate lag…

Why am I doing this?

Why am I such a boring conversationalist?! I only ever use one tone of voice!

Doubts and random pointless videos aside, there’ll be a new cartoon on Monday!

  1. 🙂 you’re funny and no way anyone can write a novel in just 1 month… I took a whole year to write mine.

    • Yeah, people always say that… I’m not quite sure why! 😛
Nope, you’re quite right. No one can write a complete, decent, 50,000 word-novel in 30 days. But I believe you can write a first draft with potential in that time. John Green explains it quite nicely here, if you want to watch it. 🙂

I love Vlogs! (Which is strange, since I’ve never done one myself. Well POSTED one really, I’ve shot one or two. *sheepish* 😛 )

I’m glad I’m not the only one freaking out about the Hobbit. I’ve mentioned it so often that my parents’ eyes start rolling when I bring it up…and they are LotR and Hobbit fans too so that really says a lot! 😉
I saw all three of the LotR Movies on Premiere night. (Even got ‘the One Ring’ at the Return of the King Premiere! 😀 But you know this!) I’m definitely looking forward to watching The Hobbit on the big screen but not on premiere night again, I think. 😛 Too much of a crowd for an anti-social person to feel comfortable in.
And anyway, we have to get a date that works for everyone. We ARE still going to watch it together, aren’t we? Just so we can nerd-ishly obsess about it afterwards! 😀

As for the writing part–I’m doing NaNoWriMo this year. All signed up and everything. I have the outline and characters all set (well not on paper, but in my head…so it counts?) I’m going to just stay up late in the evenings to type my daily word count. (And I plan on having lots of sweets and cakes and desserts ready by then so I can have a fun type-session-thing.)

And…uh…that’s it really? Sorry for all the mistakes and bad grammar and bad everything. 😛

    • Hee, me too, for some strange reason! 😛
Yes, I think everyone is irritated with me by now as well. That’s why I do Tumblr. So that I can fangirl with like-minded people as much as I want! 😉
I know. If you’ve told me once, you’ve told me fifty times! 😆 OF COURSE! Nothing is going to stop us watching it together! 😀 😀 We could even do nerdy-clothes if you want to! 😀

Whaaaaat? *crazy dance (on the inside)* Link please? So I can add you as writing buddy? I just give myself an hour to write the words. I do 800 words in the first half hour and then I take a deep breath and aim for 1000 in the next half hour. And then I’m done and can go back to studying. 🙂
That reminds me, I have a huge favour to ask you about NaNo. But I’ll send you an email about that! 😉
